Mere’s Executive Head Chef cooks up a storm at Tatton Park’s Foodie Festival

Christmas is coming – and what better way to get in the spirit than Tatton Park’s Christmas Foodie Festival? Every year it’s the ultimate opportunity for guests to enjoy mulled wine, delicious warming dishes and pick up some goodies for friends and family for Christmas.

Our Executive Head Chef, Mark Fletcher, has been taking part in the event for the past few shows demonstrating how to cook up the perfect dish in the kitchen. This weekend, he was tasked with creating the perfect Christmas lunch, but instead of the traditional choices, Mark opted for an alternative choice, Halibut.  There was a committed crowd who stuck with him while there were a few malfunctions with the oven, but the fish was worth the wait.   During his demonstration, Mark showcased his cooking knowledge and talent to an eager crowd who were desperate to see and taste the final result.

It was a great day and our Executive Head Chef was delighted to be involved!
