Full of history, and with over 10,000 items on display, you can spend the full day exploring the Tudor Old Hall and mansion.

Silver Blades Ice Rink

Out of the rain… onto the ice. Silver Blades Ice Rink offers shelter from the rain, whilst still enjoying some outdoorsy fun!

They offer a selection of skating sessions, plus hold regular disco sessions and also cater for birthday parties.

For those that need a little tuition, they offer friendly tutorials in their Learn To Skate courses for both children and adults.

Silk Museum
Macclesfield

As Macclesfield is famous for silk production, the Silk Museum offers the perfect educational afternoon out. Learn about the process of silk-making, the properties of silk and browse a collection of exhibitions.

The SeaLife Centre

Sea Life has over 5,000 creatures including sharks, seahorses, octopus, jellyfish and rays.

The kids will love the educational talks while holding a crab or touching a starfish in an interactive touchpool!
